The question "which neighboring country do you most love?" was a part of
a sociological research among Slavic FYROM university students, which
was aired yesterday (19-XI-2015) on Al Jazeera Balkan, in a TV show led
by Croatian journalist Goran Milić. The result are as following:
1. Serbia
62%
2.
Greece 19%
3.
None 9%
4.
Bulgaria 6%
5.
Albania 3.6%
6.
Kosovo 0%
Contrary to popular belief among Greeks, even 23
years into FYROM's independence, there is no massive feeling of kinship
with the people of Republic of Bulgaria. While the number of those who
stated that they "love Greece" is not big, it also cannot be considered
small, given the high intensity of Anti-Hellenic propaganda in almost
all media in FYROM, led by its Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski.
